HISTORY
​
Established in 1971 by Antoine Ortigosa Scotto, we are a lumber representative company. Initially we sourced African tropical lumber. Over time we have adapted to evolving demand from our customers with regards to quality and variety. This includes our expansion into US hardwoods.

The commitment to our customers and suppliers and to the company values since it was created 50 years ago ensures we continually provide quality lumber products.
Our expertise and savoir-faire are our most precious assets, which have been passed on from one generation to the next. We are currently in the third generation of this family of agents that we are pleased to put at your disposition.
We work closely with trusted lumber companies that own their logging areas and produce lumber products in a sustainable way. This ensures our lumber products are of highest quality and readily available.

The products that we import comes from areas that we know and visit often, which complies with the stringent regulations with regards to certification and wood traceability.

Our customers, in Spain and abroad are wood importers for its different uses, either in private or public building industry, decoration and design.

The wood is the only material used for building that keeps absorbing and storing CO2 from the atmosphere during its entire lifetime. Furthermore it is an unlimited and precious natural resource as long as managed in a sustainable manner.

This is the reason why we only work with suppliers that possess the official certificates for a sustainable forest management and the local authorisation for export and trade of this material.
